Sex and Relationships Education lessons and Mentoring
Oasis Esteem (sex and relationships) course has provided high quality sex and relationships education training and resources to, individuals, churches, medical professionals, and young people's projects for over six years.
In 2006, over 22,000 secondary school students accessed the lessons. All our Associate Educators are trained and resourced to provide accessible information and facts to challenge young people's attitudes and behaviour, and to help them make positive, healthy life choices.
The Oasis Esteem programme has been delivered to over 25,000 young people in schools around the country, and is designed to:
- Increase self esteem and assertiveness
- Educate about the realities of Sexual Transmitted Infections
- Examine the sources of teenage ideas about sex and relationships
- Challenge common myths
- Promote confident decision-making.
The interactive nature of the lessons provides maximum opportunity for young people to take charge of their own learning. Lessons develop skills, challenge attitudes and values, and develop knowledge and understanding. Oasis Esteem also provides SRE INSET training
